(ITN) The cast, crew, and creator (cartoonist Matt Groening) of the Simpsons gather to celebrate the upcoming 500th episode as reported by Mark Morris (TheShowBiz411).
There have now been 499 full episodes, one movie, and countless clips of the longest running television series in America, "The Simpsons." After 20 years what more could the massively successful show do? This Sunday it will feature Julian Assange (founder of WikiLeaks and now a correspondent for the controversial American show "Russia Today") and a near death experience (NDE) for overweight Homer. We are often asked what our favorite episode is. That, of course, would have to be the one featuring the Dalai Lama and Richard Gere when Lisa converts to Buddhism during Christmas:
- Brown rice syrup in energy bars and arsenic levels
- Julian Assange stars on the 500th Simpsons episode
- RT gives WikiLeaks' Julian Assange a TV platform
- "The Cult of St. Julian" now on television chat show
