Originally, there was no Christian Bible. There were many gospels (good news), most of which were destroyed to stamp out many of the teaching of a gentle Zen rabbi named St. Issa (Jesus/Y'shua), who had literally studied Buddhism in cosmopolitan Alexandria, Egypt as well as Kashmir and Ladakh, India.
The four remaining gospels do not agree. But that's no surprise. The 50 plus gospels didn't agree. Examining the recovered Gospel of Judas sheds light on what happened in the origination of "Christianity" as a religion distinct from Judaism.
The "New Testament" of the Bible has expunged so much of St. Issa's message -- leaving out important elements of his teachings on rebirth, karma, and details about his mission a or the Maitreya/Messiah, which the Jews knew he was not. (A buddha is yet to come in the distant future, but that did not stop the propaganda of the early Church, Constantine, and the Councils).
