Every Saturday from 9:00 AM to 11:20 AM at the Neighborhood United Methodist Church at 597 Pacific Ave., Long Beach, CA 90802. On Saturdays, there is free parking in the lot diagonally opposite the church, on 5th and Pacific. - Meditation Instruction: 8:45 AM - 9:00 AM
- Meditation/Zazen: 9:00 AM - 10:20 AM
- Tea and Snacks: 10:20 AM - 10:30 AM
- Zen Lecture/Discussion: 10:30 AM - 11:20 AM
The Saturday program is led by one of Tenshin Roshi's senior students and includes meditation and a talk on Zen practice. There is no fee to attend the Saturday program, though there is a recommended donation. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. Feel free to attend all or part of the morning's activities.
