(PBS) The Buddha comes to PBS stations on April 7, 2010 (8:00 pm PST/7:00 pm Central). Check local listings. Two and a half millennia ago, a new religion was born, generated from the ideas of a single man. Buddha did not claim to be God or his emissary on Earth. He said only that he was "awakened," a human being who had rediscovered a kind of purifying-serenity and liberating-wisdom that others could find. His life, his journey, his awakening -- for more go to pbs.org/thebuddha.
