What Empires Devolve Into (video)


One of the reasons the Chinese empire is so offensive is that it apologetically does what other empires do while hiding it. The U.S., Europe, and other First World contenders have "FEMA camp" plans drawn up and ready to deploy. But communist China is blamed and universally condemned for actually doing in the face of HAARP and other covert attacks. They suppress freedoms more openly than the "free" world, which suppresses them covertly. The example of one does not bode well for the other. Will any individual speak up? With an open heart, humor, and mindfulness, much can be done. One of the best British punk bands to come out of the Crass Era was a group of sincere vegans by the odd moniker Rudimentary Peni (myspace). The trio was very succinct and darkly catchy.
